Possum Kingdom Lake...a first for Naamz!!!

We were very lucky to be invited to Possum Kingdome Lake for an amazing weekend with friends! Naaman had a great time playing with all the little kids...Kamryn, Kenrie, and Crew! He SO enjoys the interaction...and it's always fun to watch! Thank you Tye and Krissy for having us out...we had a wonderful time!!!

As soon as we woke up on Saturday morning, we got the kids dressed in their swim attire. Naaman was ready to go exploring in this new place. What fun he had!

He loved playing on the deck and pulling up on all the chairs so he could cruise around...

Sweet Kenrie Lynn!

Cute Kamryn...she is pointing at the iPod because she wants the Dads to put on some music so she can get out there and get her dance on!!!

Naaman woke up bright-eyed from his nap and ready to go on the boat! Notice how nice and clear his eyes are here...just moments before Mom got sunscreen in his eyes!!! AHHHHH!!! Yes, I know what you're thinking...Mom of the Year...for sure!

We thought it would be cute to give the little boys a mohawk with all the suncreen they had in their hair...who needs gel?!?!

On the boat for the first time! He wasn't a fan of the life jacket...oh and he probably wasn't a fan of sunscreen in his eyes either!!! Did I mention I did that to him yet?

MUCH happier back on dry land...what is that my kid is eating, you ask? It's a veggie stick...VERY delicious. Do you think that counts towards his fruit/vegetable servings?

Mmmmmm...

...and now to wash it all down with some water. He LOVES drinking out of the bottle!

Naamz was listening intently as the big girls were reading him his books...SO stinking cute!!!

Almost time to leave...why do the weekends have to be so short???

4th of July Weekend!

We had a fun-filled holiday weekend...Happy Birthday America! Both Nana and Popi and Grandma and Grandpa came to visit!!! Naaman was very excited about the company and did a good job "hamming it up" for everyone.

We started things off with Fort Worth's miniature train ride. Thanks Nana and Popi...Popi treated! Naamz LOVED it...so much in fact that it put him right to sleep!!! Here we are waiting to go...Mr. Naaman was READY!

Cheeeeeeeeeese!

About 5 mintues into the ride this is what he looked like...very, VERY relaxed!

And he's out...

Popi's arms got tired...so he gave Nana a turn.

Hanging out at home with the family...Thanks Uncle Bob for the Clemson hat!!!

Cooling off in his mini-pool...I love, love, LOVE this picture and just had to post it!!!

He'd had enough...

Our family on Naaman's first Fourth of July...

Grandma taught Naaman how to play Pat-A-Cake...it was so cute to see him do it...he got really excited and was SO proud of himself! Here he is thinking about doing it...

Showing off his new trick...

Roll-it-up, Roll-it-up, Roll-it-up...and throw it in the pan!!!

He wanted to do it again...and again...and AGAIN! SO cute!!!

Okay...I think I'm done with that for now...on to something else!

We gave Naaman some homemade spaghetti and meat sauce for his Fourth of July meal...the boy LOVED it!

He just kept eating it...we later found out he has some food allergies, garlic and tomato to name a few! We're so bummed he can't enjoy one of his most favorite things!!!

And what would Fourth of July be without a little food?!?! I had to take a picture of Brad's plate. We had grilled beef tenderloin, homemade creamed corn, and fresh tomatoes. Notice how Brad completely filled his plate with the creamed corn and then just piled everything else on top...the boy can DEVOUR some creamed corn!
