The nursery is almost complete!!! Here's what we have so far...
I must say that I've been feeling a little...well, VERY...anxious lately. But, my parents came to my rescue this past weekend...aka Nana and Popi. They came in from Canada to help decorate Naaman's nursery. Everything you see here has nothing to do with me and everything to do with my Mom's creativeness...I think it turned out pretty darn cute! We worked them both to death while they were here...and not only did we work on the nursery, but we also re-landscaped the front flower beds, painted and put up new shutters, and changed the front door and iron work from green to black. Thank you Nana and Popi...you're AWESOME!!!

A couple's shower to celebrate Baby Naaman Jack!
Our VERY best friends hosted a couples shower for us a couple weeks ago. We are SO blessed to be surrounded by such special people to share our most exciting time with! Everything was perfect! Thank you Tye and Kris for opening up your lovely home and huge back yard for the occasion. And thanks to Brian and Jenn and Tim and Shelli for all your hard work. Nate and Kim...we missed you!
We're so glad Crew was able to make it to his best friend's party!!! I can't wait for the two of them to meet and play together for many years to come...
Brad had to grab a beer before the opening of the presents could begin...this part wasn't nearly as fun for him as it was for me...he just wanted to hang out and drink with his boys...I guess he's getting it all in while he still can!
He did like this cute outfit which says..."Daddy's Little Wingman"!
But...his most favorite gift of the evening was the bottle of Cazadores Tequila...he was passing out shots to everyone towards the end of the night! Slow down there turbo...
It was nice to have my parents come in from Canada for the big event...here they are hanging out with some of the Dickies clan. We miss you more than you know Nana and Popi!!!
The girls mingling...of course the guys were doing the same, only at a separate table!

32 Weeks!
Brad is very good about taking belly shots...he does it when I'm least expecting it! I was standing in the kitchen with my shirt pulled up...I have been BLAZING hot lately...and out he pops his camera phone and snaps this shot...what a way to document our love product!!!

Don't scare your Momma like that anymore!
Well...I had a little scare on Saturday. I noticed Naaman Jack had been moving less than normal for a few days. So...just in time for the weekend...I had myself all worked up with no doctor to talk to. I called the on-call nurse and she told me to drink a coke or something with sugar in it and head to Triage at the hospital. Of course Brad was out of town on one of his many work trips so I was pretty darn freaked out and had to drive myelf. I downed a V-8 fusion and drove as fast as I safely could. Once I got there...in tears, out of breath, and barely able to speak, one of the nurses immediately hooked me up to the monitor so I could hear my sweet baby boy's heart beat. God is SO good!!! Turns out everything is okay and he is looking good. The boy just decided to take a few days to sleep and grow I suppose?
Here is the belly at 30 weeks...only 10 weeks to go!

Brad decided he wanted to go on a walk one hot, hot summer evening. We packed up the dogs and drove to a nearby park so they could run around leash-less. It was SO stinking hot! We left the house at about 6:30...the temperature outside still a steamy 99 degrees...what was he thinking? And with his pregnant wife in tow?! I will say I was not the only one exhausted and overheated by the time we finished...both dogs slept like champs all night!
